Missing Accessories
Games Missing Original Case
Missing or heavily damaged case/artwork → 20% deduction.
Applies to: DS, 3DS, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, Switch, PlayStation (PS1–PS5, PSP, Vita), Xbox (Original–Series X/S), Sega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast.
Example: A Mario Kart Wii normally quoted at $30 missing its original case would receive $24.
Console Missing Cords
- Video cord missing: $4
- Power cord missing: $8
Handheld Missing Charger
Missing charger → $5 deduction.
Broken Items
Consoles
- Won't power on: 95%
- Disc tray issues: 30%
- Games won't read: 80%
- Port issues (HDMI/USB): 85%
Example: A PlayStation 4 with a disc-read failure—quoted at $40—would yield $8.
Handheld Systems
- Won't charge: 40%
- Button issues: 25%
- Damaged hinge: 70%
- Screen (LCD) issues: 70%
- Touch screen problems: 30%
- Sound issues: 30%
- Won't power on: 95%
- Cartridge won't read (we'll attempt cleaning/resurfacing first): 80%
Disc Games
- Won't read (we resurface discs to try to restore playability): 99%
- Cracked center ring: 30% deduction (disc still works as long as crack doesn't reach reading surface)
Cartridge Games (Handheld and Console)
- Won't read (we attempt cleaning first): 95%
- Save battery issue: $8 off
- Sprite glitch (Pokémon): 80%
Accessories
- Thumb stick or other buttons with heavy cosmetic damage: 25%
- Button functionality issues: 50% deduction (99% for PS2 buttons)
- Power issues: 95%
Other Deductions
Poor Condition
Items heavily yellowed, excessively scratched, covered in stickers, cracked shells, excessively dirty, or with smoky odor → 35% deduction. Extremely rough items may incur additional deductions.
Fake Items
Determined counterfeit items → value set to $0.
Modded Items
Unauthorized hardware/software modifications → 90% deduction.
Wrong Region
Non-NTSC (North America) items → value set to $0.
